My family was very disappointed in the Fleet Science Museum. It was old, outdated, pitiful, not appealing, and not exciting. We wanted to go to the science center and catch and IMAX movie, which is inside the science center. The science center itself is filled with a bunch of hands on exhibits which are geared towards a very basic audience (primarily children) and deal with foundational science concepts. Having visited other science museums such as the Maryland Science Center, Franklin Institute of Science, Boston Museum of Science, the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center does not measure up. We love the Ruben H. Fleet Museum. We took our children there, and now our grand daughter, who is 6, lovres it. There are many hands on exhibits, some even small children can try. The exhibits change from time to time. We have spend the day there, there are alot of things to see and try. The theater is awsome... more
