We had read the reviews on Tripadvisor and also got great reference from the concierge at the Del Coronado. The trip lived up to our expectations. Tim is very knowledgable and the trip was well paced and hit everything we wanted to see. We also enjoyed our lunchi in Lajolla and because the tour is just the right size we... More

When I first starting looking at this tour, I notice that they only ran on Tuesdays & Fridays. Because of our travelling schedule neither were doable. I asked Tim and he was able to move the Friday's tour to Thursday (we were a family of 4 so it was worth his while). On trip day, there were another couple so... More

I travel a lot and take tours in almost every city I travel to, but this tour was one of the best tours I ever had. Tim was extremely accomodating, with the great knowledge of the area and obviously enjoyed his job. I came to San Diego for a business conference and was so happy to get to this tour.... More

Great tour! We went to Mt Soledad and saw the Veteran's Memorial and also the view from there. Two of us went to Torrey Pines and saw the golf course and the place where people hand glide. Then we ate lunch at La Jolla (Girard's Cafe). There is a coupon for a free cookie with the purchase of a sandwich... More

TourGuide Tim lead us on a very well planned trip around San Diego and La Jolla on the only day it had rained in a while! He's only been in the area for 10+ years but knows a tremendous amount about the area. We were having a business meeting in La Jolla, and wanted something fun to do while we... More

Tim should start a school for tour guides. This was the PERFECT tour! When scheduling this tour, Tim called me two or three times to make sure the date and time were the best for us. The bus was almost new. Tim is so congenial and flexible, that the tour really turns out to be what you want. If you... More

Tim's tour of La Jolla was the highlight of our trip to San Diego. The scenery was beautiful. Everyone in our group, from the grandparents to the teenagers, enjoyed our tour. My personal favorite was the trip to the gliderport. Tim's obvious enjoyment of his job makes this a great tour and we have some great photos to remember our... More

Tim arranged a tour for us on a day he normally doesn't go. We were 7 on a small bus with a very accommodating driver, Annette. Tim dedicated his energy to telling us fascinating stories about the personalities and history connected to each place we stopped. He paced the visits beautifully and he gave us options. The highlight for me... More

If it is your first time in San Diego, we highly recommend you go on a tour with Tim. My boyfriend and I were the only ones on the tour and like a true professional, Tim kept his commitment and gave us a wonderful tour of La Jolla. Tim was friendly and knowledgeable and always made sure we were having... More

From the breathtaking views atop Mount Soledad (bring a sweater or light jacket!), to the coastal walk in La Jolla where we viewed cormorants, sea lions and new mother seals and their pups, to a stroll through the town with its unique shops and laidback vibe, it was all good. We were a small group that day, and Tim was... More
