This was a 3 hour whale watching excursion. First day of the season, unfortunately no whales yet, did see a large pod of over 200 dolphins. Passed two tall ships on the return, the America and the Californian. Both also apparently do whale watching trips via sailing ships. The Harbor Excursion crew brought along naturalists from the Birch Aquarium to... more

This company offers so much, ferries, dinner and brunch cruises whale watching in the winter but my favorite are the harbor tours. They only hire ex or current military tour guides which is a must with San Diego being the Pacific Fleet's principle homeport. Those guys know thier stuff and the bay has so much else. This is a great... more

The overall tripadvisor rating right now 3.5 which is what I would rate it if I could do 1/2's. Anyhow, for 2 people it cost us about $210 which included our own table next to a window, and included 2 glasses of champagne, and a bottle of BV Cabernet. The food was good, not great, and seeing the harbor was... more

I just took the tour of the South part of the bay and you got to see parts of Coronado and close up of the bridge. Also views of the various Naval yards where ships were under construction or docked for repairs. The tour guide did a good job giving you information about the different buildings, ships, and history of... more

There are one and two hour cruises; I suggest the 2 hour as you see more sights and there are more photography opportunities. It can be very windy, so I prefer to sit below deck. Less crowded too. Sometimes I find you cannot hear the narrator above the boat engines, but you can always ask questions if you are particularly... more

My husband and I celebrated the coming of 2009 aboard their cruise ship. Everything was fine, we had the five course dinner, later danced to the band, celebrated New Year's and watched fireworks from the water. It was a great time and celebration that we had never done before. By 9 am the next morning we were vomiting and having... more

We took the whole bay tour and it wasn't bad but has room for improvement. It's a nice way to see San Diego and all the warships and interesting military bases but the tour guide seemed to be bored out of his mind. For the first part of the tour the guide's mike was cutting out so you would only... more

My girlfriend and I took the dinner cruise and we were happy that we did. We got a good 3-course meal consisting of a good caesar salad to start off with, followed by your choice of the main dish (we both chose the steak), topped off whatever that damn delicious cake like thing we had was. The ride was not... more

They have a nature cruise that we scheduled, but were told they may have to cancel that trip and book us for the weekend. They cancelled as they warned, and we rescheduled for the weekend. They then cancelled/rebooked us another THREE times over a 2 day period. When we arrived for our cruise, we were told the ship would go... more
