Family friendly location just minutes from downtown San Diego. Good viewing area and food service while you're watching the riders on the Flowrider. Our visit was actually June 2010 just after our son returned from a tour in Afghanistan.

If you haven't been to one or seen one its worth checking out. Get a drink or two and watch some people ride the wave.

The only saving grace for this bar is it's location and view of ocean- otherwise it is very overpriced for canned beer (yeah- no beers even on draft). We took our 16&12 year olds to the wave house.its like surfing in a shallow river. The wavehouse is set right on mission beach.it lasts an hour and their were maybe 10 people riding.so the wait to ride wasn't long. When you figure in the cost to ride vs the time spent riding it equals a great value.
