we took our 4 children, ages 17, 14, 11 & 3 to the wildlife sanctuary. One kid loves to hike, another hates it outside, one doesn't like to be warm and the little guy well is 3 so it's hit or miss. As a long time visitor to cape cod, I was pleasantly surprised by this wildlife reserve located right off Route 6 amongst mini-golf and tacky t-shirt stands. As visitors from the UK, we were not familiar with US birds. They have a bird feeding area at the reception centre, and a helpful member of staff spent time identifying the different species that came, including cardinals, woodpeckers, towhee etc. The trails are a great place to have a peaceful walk, and spot some more birds. more
