Took an the improve show from "Eight Is Enough" and had a good time. I found it entertaining and funny. It's really fun knowing how much of this is "made up" as they go - improv takes a special talent and they did a great job with it. I highly recommend it ! :)

Eight is NEVER Enough is a fantastic, audience-interactive high energy improvisational comedy show. This talented ensemble features a cast of professional actors who have appeared on MTV, Comedy Central, HBO, VH1, Broadway and Letterman. Improv comedy is an art form where the actors make up uplanned skits, songs and dances from scratch with the help of audience's suggestions. With one of the hottest improv tickets in town the diverse and talented cast brings a Broadway sensibility to every show.

I believe we saw a show that failed to highlight this troupe's strengths. There were 5 members, 2 women and 3 men, who were fast on their feet. Their leader is Walt, who plays the keyboard, acts the emcee and time keeper. There were moments of brilliance and ingenuity, but most of the skits fell flat.

Usually at the matinees we have a large amount of audience members in the 12 and under crowd, but occasionally we have more teenagers and adults. On the days when we have an abundance of younger audience members the show is naturally more shaped for that crowd because they are the ones giving the suggestions which determines the subject matter....

So, my nieces were invited to see "Improv for Kids", which I now know is a "Eight is Never Enough" offering.
