We stayed right up at the top of the park on the West side and walked down through the park to the East side and to Museum Mile. A wonderful oasis in the busy city of NY. Weather not that kind to us so only one stroll - would have liked to do more.

a perfect cross-over from West to East side - the Bethesda fountain was recommended to us by a nice lady at Lendy's deli where we had a healthy breakfast before walking through the park on a beautiful spring day. Enjoyed seeing joggers of all ages and several exercise classes going on in the Park. Will definitely spend more time there...

Loved the park. We rented bikes which was great, but we went on a Saturday. If you think the traffic in the city is bad. Biking in the park on a Saturday is comparable. Go on a weekday.

An unbelievable treasure in the heart of New York. Heavily used by New Yorkers, tourists, etc., and simply wonderful, refreshing and life-giving. Make a point of walking through it on your way to just about anything. Great in all seasons. Don't be afraid to go all the way to the northern end, either walking or on bikes.

The Pedi Cab driver we had was so friendly and knowledgeable.Nice way to see the park and a little cheaper than the horse carraiges. We did start out with the short trip but ended up doing the whole park 3 of us $50 per person with tip.
