Would have liked to see more than this, there was not a lot to see overall. Just loved the bead and leatherwork presented.

I'd never noticed this museum before, but it is very interesting and I recommend a visit. Can easily see it in an hour.
Having lived on the Navajo reservation and in Denver and traveled extensively through the Southwest, I found this museum a HUGE disappointment, especially when compared to the excellent NMAI in Washington, DC. Lots of space but not really a huge museum. However the pieces are of tremendous quality. I am American Indian and I have been to the Smithsonian in DC, but this one is better for a very significant reason: an entire exhibit dedicated to a current/modern Native artist. It was fantastic.
Fantastic place for everyone! This is one of the more unique places to see in Native American exhibits. Pretty fantastic..
Some really interesting items and history that shows the diversity and culture of the indigenous peoples of the Americas from Patagonia to Canada. A good museum, and it's free!
