I felt compelled to see ground zero for many years now. Finally my chance came. It broke my heart to see the names of those lost. The memorial is a beautiful tribute and the trees planted will be a beautiful living tribute. The site will be sacred . My niece is a survivor and I have to remind others, while we... More

This museum is not very big but is two levels. The main level has videos and sound clips along with a wall with pictures of things that happened on 9/11. As we progressed we found a steel beam that had been twisted in the destruction, part of one of the planes and even firefighting gear that was in tatters. There... More

Instead of `TWIN TOWERS' now there are going to be seven towers and also one museum with the remnants of the old towers. The work is so fast in progess and so impressive that I got dazzled at the sight of place that I had seen before two years. The North and South pools in memory of the victims and... More

We visited the WTC Vistor Center before visiting the 9-11 Memorial. The museum is small but well organized and informative. It was emotional to see and hear the stories of some of the people affected by this tragedy.

We visited the WTC Visitor Center and took the 90 minute walking tour with two NYC volunteers. Although this was the very first day, we all left knowing that it would be the most memorable part of our stay. We accidentally stumbled on the Tribute center when we were trying to find our way to the site. My daughters range... More

Sad, emotional, beautiful. I was not sure what to expect and have avoided visiting the memorial until this year. The museum, although tiny, is very well done. The reflection pools are beautiful. There are several computers which allow you to look up names of people lost on the day and it is very easy to find the names on the... More

We wondered up and down the road trying to find the Tribute Center, nearly giving in at one point to just obtaining the free tickets into the Memorial Garden, so glad we persevered and paid the $20 for the tour at the Tribute Center. The museum that has been created tells a moving story of the day and people, I... More

Unfortunately, an important MUST SEE while in New York City. It's hard to believe it's been over 10 years since the attacks on our country. The Memorial itself is stunning.
