The Cloisters is a collection of joined Catholic temples, grottos and gardens. There many incredibly old stone pillars. The mixture of art, architecture and gardening was very nice and peaceful. Don’t get me wrong the Cloisters were very nice they had an impressive collection of old artifacts. If you are like me the entertainment value is not worth the 20$ per person suggested price they were asking for. I gave a donation of 20$ for me and my wife. The grounds are large and well kept. more

This is well worth a visit, but don't expect anything like the Metropolitan Musuem of Art on Central Park (of which it's a part).
