Whatever you had heard before, do not be afraid to visit Times Square. It was amazing. There was a significant and visable police presence so we, at age 70 and 68, never felt nervous. A must see in NYC.

You have to visit at least once during your trip, it's exactly like on the TV. Be prepared for large crowds though. My only regret is that we didn't go back at night.

It was alive with excitement. And it was clean all in all. There was a strong police prescence which was nice, but it was not foreboding. It was fun to walk along day and night. I went to this place with my family and it is totally worth it. We visited this place at night, where light everywhere, big screen. I loved sitting in the center with food in my hand and enjoying the scenario around. I suggest you all to visit at least once...

Go early to Times Square and join the queue fro half price hteatre tickets. we went at 10am and queued for maybe 20 minutes. Got half price tickets to The Addams family that afternoon which was brilliant. Bring a sweater to the theatre, the airconditioning is very cold!!

Such lively place!! Any time of the year, any time of the day. You will never miss entertainment here.

This is a great place to station yourself as a first time visitor but only for the transport links. The whole place was dirty and packed, especially in the evening. You can't get anywhere quick and walking becomes a shuffle mainly due to the amount of people, and the number of street sellers blocking up the sidewalks.

Times Square is one heck of a place to visit especially during rush hour, the hustle and bustle is a sight to see. The restaurants and shopping was amazing, a must see! Watch out for the people who think you are lost or tourists, they will offer to help, tell a few jokes then demand a tip.

Just like you see in the movies! Lots of hustle and bustle, tons of tourists. Worth the visit just for the lights!!
