It is so beautiful and the sound is amazing. They have old fashioned opera boxes. It seats so many people that you really can get a nose bleed but the sound is worth it.

My wife and I had never attend a concert at Carnegie Hall, so planned to so while making a short visit to NYC. Our only option was a NY Pops concert, but we would have gone to almost any performance just to experience Carnegie Hall and its acoustics. A great place to see top talent in Classical Music. Small than Lincoln Center and opulant non the less.
Great exhibit. Loved seeing the Beatles. Some of the glare was really annoying however when looking at the photos. Some of the staff were not helpful with handicapped situation/needs.
Obviously, it depends on the quality of the event, but I enjoy seeing musical acts here.
How does one get to Carnegie Hall....practice practice practice. The last thing I saw at Carnegie Hall was the Japanese Komodo Drummers. Just incredible. So much is int he area as far as food/drinks which adds to the experience. Look ahead of time for what's going to be listed for shows.
I saw the Boston Pops Orchestra here and it was a sublime experience. Had a terrific seat in the gallery and the music just washed over me. A lovely building (staff a bit tetchy and seemed pressured)and a privilege to visit
Acoustics like nowhere else on earth in any theater in the building.
Attended an Easter Sunday performance of several choirs (with 2 of my children singing in the group), John Rutter was the guest conductor. This is the third concert I have attended with my children as performers and Mr. Rutter as conductor. Had great seats (1st tier, dead center), although the boxes are a little cramped. The acoustics are incredible, the...
