This is one of several bridges connecting New York. The different design is nice to look at and see the technological changes.

I have driven over the bridge many times but to walk over it was so thrilling. I did it last summer and will again soon. After the walk, go down under the bridge to Eldridge St north to Vanessa's dumplings for the best dumplings, sesame pancakes and soups.

Nice views of the city, although it's a bit of a walk up there. Worth checking out! Still... it's a bridge, right!

Built on the cheap after the Brooklyn Bridge first did it, this is not the best looking bridge over the East River. However, there are some good views of lower Manhattan and Brooklyn Heights from it.

We had walked the Brooklyn Bridge several times so this was something different. You get great views of the Brooklyn Bridge and it is not so busy.Although trains pass over it is not noisy Watch out for inconsiderate cyclists.
