Such an interesting place to visit, if I was a New Yorker I reckon I'd practically live here. Not a museum as such but a repository and resource center for media, lots of archive material. A big theater with films and docos on special - the day I was there they were showing a TV special on TV Comedians. Up... More

I expected more of a museum type of feel with exhibits from TV and radio. However, they had one small exhibit, but the rest was either a movie playing or access to a computer and watching television programs. It was fun to search out long lost interviews or old TV programs. I would not recommend an child under the age... More

What I like best about the museum is the ability to see a TV show I liked many years ago. They have most of them.

The best part of this attraction are the archives of old TV and radio shows that you can access by computer. I watched the 1969 Super Bowl Game between the Jets and Baltimore, and a little bit of Have Gun Will Travel. It's all very nostalgic and I suppose some people will find it all heartwarming but it quickly wears... More

really amazing to watch whatever you want from past television (or listen to radio) - had a wonderful time with my family remembering things we used to watch together.

For a museum named for a broadcasting pioneer, the name is generic and says nothing. They should have retained the old name-The Museum of TV and Radio. If you want to see/hear excellent original recordings of old tv and radio shows this is nervana.Think of the old shows you always loved yet will never appear on a dvd collection or... More

This place wasn't what I expected (although I'm not sure what that was really). I still enjoyed it. It is ideal attraction for people who are really big fans of tv and film, and enjoy watching old clips. I couldn't believe how big their archives were.

As mentioned above this was very very disapointing, we had seen this mentioned as the Museum of TV and Radio and were really looking forward to seeing some exhibits on the history of American TV, to be greeted by a "guide" who firstly told us about the name change then that they were not the usual type of museum as... This place was a lot of fun for our family. After viewing an old "Honeymooners" episode in the theater, we went to the semi-private veiwing area and selected some old Batman episodes to watch with the kids. They loved it all, including the original commercials. Go early so that you have enough time to play around. They have a great... More

Was not expecting this place to be what it was. Thought there would be some history of broadcasting, but as others have said, they just replay old shows/radio broadcasts (and you can use the library). It was disappointing, but at the same time we were on our feet walking all day so it was nice to sit down, relax, and... More
