We saw the exhibit of Weegee's photos; he was one of the first photographers to shoot crime scenes. Gritty and shocking! After a certain point, one has seen enough photos of murders, though. The other photos on display were more artistic and easier to absorb. Well worth a visit, though it is small and won't take more than 45 minutes... More

I love taking photos. So when I walked along the street and found the International Center of Photography Museum, I had to stop in. There is a small admission fee to enter. While I was there, they showcased two exhibits. The one upstairs featured three photographers, each one took photos of the everyday lives of residents in a different city... More

Went on a donation suggested Friday evening to see the Weegee exhibit. Excellent display, larger than expected and well laid out.

As someone who has studied Photography at University I was very excited about visiting this museum. The currently exhibitions on Weegee, The Loving Story and the Magnum contact sheets were fantastic. Although a relatively small museum space we spent around two and a half hours here, as there was a great deal of information on the artists and their work.... More

I expected more being that this is in NYC. The two exhibits were good, but overall there wasn't much too see. So I'd say it wasn't worth the $12 price of admission

From Jan-Sep 2012, the exhibit features crime scene photos from a reporter named Weegee. The black and white photos are very interesting, well laid out, fun to look at. The museum is closed on Monday. Students get a discount so bring your ID. Best for older kids with an interest in art or photography.

I visited different exhibitions, some of them were really good. The place is very well mantained, curatorial work is very good. It is an important place to see photography.

The Weegee exhibit was marvelous, as were the corollary exhibits at the Center. Fascinating exploration of Weegee and his work, nicely laid-out. Will definitely return next time we're in the city.
