My wife and I took a walk along Madison Ave. Two hours and $15,000 later we emerged with full shopping bags and empty pockets. True story. 'Nuff said....
Great area for window shopping for most of us normal people.
Madison Avenue is a great place to shop and window shop. The flat street and pretty windows will have you walking for hours.
There are hundreds of store windows to look at, also to view and shop in. There are too many appealing choices if you walk up and down Madison, you will be sure to make purchases.
Love the changes from 50's to 20s. Fun to walk along. Shops by 57th are great
Madison Avenue is pretty darn cool, but Fifth Ave has more impressive shops (for wanna-be starlets) and Lexington has better views. Madison Ave. around Mad. Sq. It was a chilly weekend in NYC so we walked along Madison Ave, on the sunny side of the street! Many store windows were decorated for Easter. Ralph Lauren was especially good.
Beautiful shop, candy for your eyes, though quite pricey..nice for long walks with friends. ...and shopping maybe!
Found a few nice shops on the Ave and spent many a dollar but everything was worth it. This year 2012 staying in a hotel on Madison and very close to a couple of my fav shops - Talbots and Coach
