I was expecting an interactive experience with up to date games and new technologies. What I got was a series of consoles with games that were YEARS old and lots of merchandise. The only reason to go here would be to look at the history they have on display.

Stopped there with my kids who are older, 17 and 21. They thought they would find more games. They mostly have nintendo kid's stuff, action figures of Pokemon, shirts, stuffed animals, stuff like that. They did have a display of all the gaming devices which was interesting.

This store brought big smiles! Not only do they have all the gear for kids and adults, but old skool Nintendo! A must see for anyone who ever was addicted to Mario!

The Nintendo World Store is located just off Rockefeller Plaza--about a 10 minute walk from Times Square and a 10 minute walk from the free Sony Wonder Lab (a great place to visit--see my review!). You can see Al Roker broadcast the weather through the large glass windows as the Today show sets up right outside. Bring your DS/DS3 fully... More

We have both a Wii and a DS so this was a must stop. Tons of games you can demo plus a very cool mini Nintendo museum. The best part was the staff that was constantly walking around and very knowledgable about all the games. They actively engaged my 13 year old daughter in conversation about what games she had,... Came here expecting more, it's a Nintendo store firstly that is more expensive than toys r us. That said its a nice break from the madness of the city. They have everything nintendo in stock that u could want and then some. If ur passing pop in but I wouldn't come especially.

My boys (6 and 8) decided this w the best part of our NYC visit. Two levels of the best games Nintendo has to offer - all for free. Great way to find what you want to buy. We spent nearly 3 hours here - not my choice but the kids loved it

If you're in the Rockefeller center area this is a nice stop for the kids, they have tons of Wii and DS systems set up on both floors so kids (or adults) can have a video game break. Plus you can buy anything Nintendo at this store, systems, games, other novelties.
