Like I said in other reviews before, I came here for the very first time for my birthday to see all the musicals, tourist attractions, and museums that I could fit in my 2 weeks stay. I was not disappointed. I never felt so much at home. I dont know why as I've never been to the East Coast ever... More

Visited the city for the first time in the week before Xmas - and boy was it busy! Xmas shoppers are just part of the experience but we were just a little disappointed with the festive decorations and lights. On returning home, someone who had been there earlier in the month said that the Xmas displays were not as good... More

We had taken the train into New York City with our family. We got on the double decker bus and took a tour of New York. That is the best thing to do. Keeps you from having to walk all over the place. The tour buses tell you all the sites and you can get on and off wherever you... More

The best place to get cash from an ATM are the MCDonalds- 99c. Go to Grand Central for sure and visit the transit museum, eat in the Food Court and just explore the beauty there. IF you are in town for more than 3 days, but an unlimited subway pass-good for the buses too. THE place for a fantastic view... More

Went to New-York with my 13 years old grand daughter. What a great experience! We used the Hop on Hop off transport to visit each part of the city. We could get down anywhere of our choice and enjoyed from the museum to the parks, the statue of Liberty, Empire State building, the Chinese or Italian area...etc. We felt safe... More

Don't bother visiting it unless you like extreme examples of what is considered modern art. There are a few Picassos and the like, but more than half of the museum exhibit space (the display space is actually quite small) is very basic and what I consider banal displays. Almost 2 floors are taken up with 6 old style reel projectors... More

Went to the Hotel on Rivington for New Years. DON'T DO IT! The staff was helpful however the overall experience was horrible. The tickets were expensive, which is expected for New Years in New York. However I felt scammed. When we arrived at the hotel there were two lines. One for people who had tickets and another for people who... More
