You’ll ride with us in comfort, then dive deep into the city when we walk the streets, where you’ll experience the genuine excitement and breadth of New York. And did you know some of the big touring companies in New York have eliminated their guides and mechanized their tours? NYSee Tours believes in the value of a living, breathing guide; someone who knows his or her history, but brings personal anecdotes, passion and humor to the table. Simply put: we don’t hand you a pair of headphones when you hand us your ticket. Our excursions are animated and alive, so you can live and breathe New York City. Oh, and where do we take you? We feature two tours: the Get Acquainted Tour that takes you from Midtown Manhattan to the Financial District, with plenty of stops along the way, and the Two Borough Tour, featuring Lower Manhattan and DUMBO, in Brooklyn, for a truly diverse New York experience. 5/27/12 - The tour leaves on time, don't be late! Our guide, Onel, was outstanding. He was very knowledgable and was able to answer almost all our questions (didn't know how many windows in the new trade center tower, yet). It was a great introductory tour of New York with quite a bit of walking and then breaks while we... More

This was an excellent tour of the city in a short period of time. I call it the shotgun approach as there was a wealth of info in an afternoon. It's a great way for someone to get a feel for the city and want to return for more. One caution - wear comfortable shoes. You need to know that... More

I am writing this review on behalf of myself and seven other ladies. One word - FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!! On Friday, May 18th we met in Times Square for what would prove to be an amazing day. NYSee is so organized beginning promptly at 10am (the first indication that our day would be great)! Lance was our guide and he was so... More

Best tour we've ever had. Enjoyed all sites and Onel our guide was extremely knowledgeable and personable. Would recommend to all. Our friends were visiting NY for the first time and this was an amazing and comprehensive tour. While we have been to Manhattan many times we also learned new "behind the scenes" information and look forward to further explorations... More

Thank you to NYSEE tours for an amazing tour of New York City. We could not have been more pleased with the service we got. The tour started on time, we would drive for a bit, being told about the areas and sights, then we would get off to walk around a bit before the tour bus met us at... More

My boyfriend and I visited NYC for our 5th anniversary. We stayed at the Doubletree in Times Square and met up with our tour guide in the morning across the street. This was a great way for us to experience a large part of the city in one day. We liked the size of the group; we were able to... More

Last month we visited NYC for a week of Broadway shows and attractions during the Passover/Easter week We started our vacation with a tour from Fred and were really impressed by his knowledge of a city he knows intimately and is passionate about. Fred is very personable and accomodating. We went to a lot of important places and stopped to... More

I purchased two Groupon vouchers for NYSee Tours for a recent trip my mom and I took to NYC. When I called to schedule the tour I was told to email with my requested dates. I did so, requesting Friday, May 4th. I got no response. W/in a day or two I emailed again, requesting to change our date to... More

The correct headline to your review should have read "We were late, missed tour" instead of “Never showed up for the tour!” We were there, you were not. Twenty two people experienced an extraordinary tour of NYC. As you stated in your misguided review, you were late. It clearly states in all of our literature that we leave at 10... More

Decided to try this more personalized tour and skip the big buses. Perfect way to start off our trip as 1st time visitors. Fred was a great guide and as the deep knowledge of someone born and raised in NYC and shares his personal history. Form this 5 hour tour we were able to map out our plan for the... More

The tour is really designed to give you an opportunity to map out your plans for a longer stay. I'd love to show you more, but five hours is a perfect span of time, and realistically if I had a year I couldn't show you everything I wished I could. More

If you only do one tour in NYC make it this one! It's as though you are seeing the city with a very knowledgeable Uncle with a great sense of history. Fred has lived in NYC all his life and he delights in sharing his city. In just five hours I saw Times Square, walked through Central Park, Grand Central... More

Very nice, I feel like an Uncle, or at least a good friend showing off my favorite spots in NYC to family. I'm glad you appreciated that. The tour is a great value - 5 hours with a living, breathing NYer. More
