The night shooting class was super informative. I had a blast with our instructor Zim, she is extremely knowledgable and made everything simple and easy to understand! I can't wait to take more classes when i'm back in the city.

on my recent trip to NY I booked a after dark tour with NYC Photo Safari. Our instructor was Zim. She taught us not only a lot of technical stuff, but she also helped us to use these techniques to create better pictures. I have learned a lot from this course and I regret not being able to take more... More

On a recent trip to the city, my daughter and I took a custom Photo Safari class in Madison Square Park. We wanted to focus on taking better shots, both portrait and scenery. Our instructor was Zim. She was extremely knowledgeable, informative and also funny and entertaining. She is able to instruct and advise while putting a personal "spin" into... More

I visited NYC from abroad and went on the NYC after dark photo safari, museum inside out photo safari and also the High line park safari. My instructor was Zim and I have the highest regard for her skill, and teaching expertise. She has a great sense of humor and the tours are both fun and a great way to... More

I went on a photo safari last weekend and had a great time! I live close enough to the city so I just took the train in for the day. Our instructor was Zim and she was such a big help! I finally could get some good shots with my SLR. I would definitely go on another photo safari to... More

Beautiful Sunday afternoon in Central Park for NYC Photo Safari. Zim made the class fun and simplified the use of the DSLR yet still get dramatic shots. Using her technique on Composition and Perspective we were able to make a big impact on our subject. We were a small group of 4, allowing individualized attention. She made the class an... More

Great way to enhance you photo skills and see the city in a different way. Zim is an excellent teacher and helped me learn more about composition and using my camera.

My wife and I started our New York city holiday on April 4 with a five hour photo safari covering the Metropolitan, Central Park and the Rockefeller Plaza. It was both incredibly enjoyable and an outstanding learning experience! We learnt how to use our many of the settings on our cameras as well started our journey to understand photo composition... I am an amateur photographer but I've read many books on the subject and am very comfortable with using my DSLR. Going out and getting great shots is another story, and Zim is phenomenal at explaining compositional goals, relating to you with her own stories and experiences, and then inspiring you to push yourself to improve. Unlike other classes "in... More

Terrific experience, Zim was a wonderful teacher and I learned how to better frame and make exceptional pictures. Central Park was the perfect location and I now have a better appreciation for intricacies of photo taking. Can't wait for my next safari.
