The High Line is a must. Even in October, the flowers sere still present. Take this opportunity to go to Eataly, and the restaurant of the French Culinary Institute.
I don't regret my decision of taking this tour! It was absolutely amazing and super funny thanks to Remy, the best guide ever! He's charismatic, sympathetic and he's willing to help with everything you need! He even told me how to get to the nearest subway to the Lincoln Center after the tour ended. The walking experience was awesome, you... More
We did two different tours in the same weekend with WTM. Alex led us on a nice tour of Historic Downtown Manhattan which was very informative and interesting. The small group of six was great after having done walking tours in other cities with 20+ people. The only knock was that 30 plus mins of the 2 hour "tour" was... More
When we walked around the Rockefeller Center on our own which was close by our hotel, we thought that we have seen what we should see, but we were totally wrong till we got this walking tour from Kristine. Thanks to our guide who was more than a guide (very good comunicator, fun to be with and well prepared) ,... More
What a great way to see New York! Wandering around soho, little Italy and Chinatown with your personal guide pointing out the sites, telling you about the history and then stopping for tasty snacks. I would thoroughly recommend this tour.
This was my third tour with Nancy ( historic downtown and Times Square) who has an uncommon wealth of information about her city. The food tour took place along 9th avenue where we were introduced to delicious and unusual dishes from different cultures. We did not leave hungry! Thank you Nancy for another fun (and tasty) day in the city.
What a cool experience to have a local New Yorker show you around the lovely neighbourhood of Brooklyn. Bruce has great knowledge of the area, and is passionate about his city. He is easy to chat to, and good company to share a pizza with while looking back at the Manhattan skyline. Pizza was top class, and ice cream was... More
I would highly recommend Nancy and Gary of Manhattan Walking Tours and would join them again if opportunity presented itself. It was fun, informative, safe and interactive. Thank you, Susan S.
Our guides Alex and Cristina obviously love their city and want others to enjoy it. We booked high line and Greenwich village. The park was partially closed but Alex adapted thevtoir without batting an eye. generous samples of local treats, great back stories and a willingness to go out of their way to make your trip best possible for YOU.... Our walking tour of the High Line and Greenwich Village was an unexpected highlight of our visit. It was a wonderful way to see a side of the city which we would never have found without our terrific guide Nancy. She was knowledgable and entertaining, and took us to some great little food places - delicious hot chocolate with chilli,... More
