This is a wonderful place to visit during the holidays. There is ice skating, a resturant and bar and a wonderland of shops. Open daily October 27, 2011 - February 26, 2012, it is NYC's only free ice skating rink. Skate rental is $14, but admission is free. Definitely a place to check out if you're in the city from... It's crazy to think that something as interesting as this is sitting right behind the library, but it is. Citi Pond at Bryant Park (along with Celsius, the restaurant, and The Holiday Shops at Bryant Park) is a wonderful place to experience. Walk through the park, watch the skaters, but a hot chocolate, do some last minute shopping, meet a... More

I haven't been to NY in a long time. I was going to skate at Rockfeller Center but I decided not to because of the line. Then I happened upon Bryant Park. The staff was fine on the night I went. The cost to rent the skates was $14.00 but hey it's NY and it was better than carrying skates... More

I generally had a pretty good time at this rink. The ice was very soft and even after the zamboni went over it, it was still quite bumpy. Rental skates were decent quality. The lockers are very small though. Anyone with a large bag or shoes will barely be able get their stuff in there, forget about sharing unless you are... More

The area is beautiful and the restaurant next to the pond looked awesome. Skating was expensive but i think worth it. It was very crowded though on a saturday.

I took my son here on MLK day. There were a lot of kids bec of the holiday but that didn't deter our Mommy and Son time. We loved Citi Pond and enjoyed skating. The ice guards were very helpful, too bad there was only 1 instructor for skating lessons. A good hour and a half of flailing around and... More

I have taken my kids skating here during the week after Christmas for the last 5 years. It's their favorite place to skate in the city. Get there first thing in the morning- by 9 and you'll have no line, really! we are usually done within 2 hours... then grab crepes at one of the stands just outside the rink... More

Went to the fast access line and for a few extra dollars each we were on the ice in a little over 15 minutes -- crowded but fun

For $14 only is very good. You can stay as long as you want. The skates are in good condition. I think it is the less expensive of all ice skating rinks in the city. The only thing I didn't like was that there were many skaters who went really fast and among the slow skaters and made you unstable... More

we skated here on Thanksgiving day and the line to get in was very long. Even though it is free to skate, just pay the $14 for skate rentals, we paid online the extra $6pp to get the speedpass. We avoided any lines, walked right in to a special line to get our skates and onto the ice. It was... More
