Bought tickets for the hop on hop off bus tour during the Memorial day weekend. Gray Line sells more tickets then they can handle. Out of the 3 day ticket we only got to ride on the top of the bus once. The other times we were shoved into the bottom where the windows were covered so you can't see... More

Double Decker bus tours are the best way to see the city in two days. There are several companies but the most popular two are Gray Line and City Sights. We choose this one because it was suggested by the concierge. However, our experience wasn't any better than the reviews I read on the other one. First off, City Sights... More

We did the 8 hour on day Grayline tour of new york and it was brillant. It is a good way to see most of new york and then the next day you can go back to the places you wish to see more off. We travelled around in a nice clean coach and our tour guide was very nice.... More

I've been in New York on 3 occasions. January 2008, January 2009 and May 2012. The tour guides and service in 2008 & 2009 were excellent, interesting and very pleasant. What a difference 3 years makes :( On Sunday 20th May, I walked into the Gray Line office on 48th Street and asked to buy 3 tickets to Woodbury Common... More

I purchased 40 tickets for this tour after being told on the phone that our group would be able to get on and off the bus at various locations. That part was true--we had that ability. What they were less than honest about was the fact that due to our arrival/departure time in NY this was impossible. I had informed... More

We were on two buses. The first one had pre-recorded information which did not always coordinate with what we were seeing. The live guide was great! Overall, I loved this way of seeing a lot of the city. We discovered Pratt Institute along the way where my father went to college and stopped to visit the Seaport area, which we... More

If you are considering taking a sightseeing bus tour with Gray Line, I would recommend you read the reviews and accept the fact you will probably be disappointed. The Thursday before Memorial Day weekend, we had a cousin and her husband visiting us from Canada and we decided to show them around the city. She has mobility issues and cannot... More

What was disappointing about this was, the people on the street sell you tickets, then lead you to where you need to catch the bus,,. they SAY it will be every 10-15 minutes, but its not, because 2-3 full buses went by and it was at least 45 minutes before we could get on a bus, which was packed and... Living close to the city I often bring my visitors to Manhattan and Grayline used to be our sightseeing company of choice. During the last year the performance (who wasn't outstanding in the first place)got even worse and you will find yourself waiting at least for 45 min or longer for a bus once you hopped off your original bus....
