If your interested in a day's work of shopping in NYC for designer items (Cole Haan, Armani, Ferragamo, and the like) at discounted prices this is a definite must see! Only thing...customer service sucked, all day, until I got to the register. We asked one lady in shoe dept what the sales tax was and she said only the people... More

If you have already seen all the NY sights and checked out the big department stores then this would be worth it, but it is not interesting enough otherwise. Itis big but still just another discount store. The staff are incredibly unhelpful and the building is difficult to get around. That said, determined bargain hunters will probably find enough to fill... More

I'm pretty hard to impress for discount shopping, having lived in a wealthy Seattle suburb where thrift stores carry 300+ designers for $20 and smaller ones for a few bucks, but this store is good. Not all of it is actually a bargain, but the stuff that is is high quality and well priced. Only looked at the clothes, though.... More

I dropped in to their Lincoln Plaza Store last week, it's a hit or miss affair, one need's to be lucky. I pickedvupna great Tumi jacket, some very nice Polo belts and Zegna socks for very little money, 70% off retail. So well worth visiting, forget about their staff but one can get lucky...

As previous reviewers have mentioned, get there early or go late at night. Its opened from 7:45am to 9pm. The Cortlandt street location is pretty impressive. They have new arrivals every day, and so I would recommend (if you can) to pop in every other day to check out the new garments. We were in New York for a week and managed... More

Yes, they have the some great name brands, but most stuff I could find in my Oklahoma Dillard's. And prices aren't that great. Better deals online at bluefly.com or ruelala.com. One rack of Marc by Marc Jacobs. Wouldn't waste my shopping time there if I was visiting from out of town.

I've been shopping here for many years - back when it seemed to be primarily New Yorkers as clientele. Nowadays it's become yet another tourist destination - which is great if you are from an overseas country, certain labels are important, have a good exchange rate and can still afford to pay hundreds for a blouse or shirt - even... Tons of selection, shirts, ties, pants, suits, coats, shoes, sunglasses, so much stuff. Good thing they sell suitcases downstairs so you get everything home.

Need clothes or shoes? Check this store out. Leave plenty of time for browsing. A good selection of men's shoes and suits. The midtown Manahattan location also has good deals but not as broad a selection.

My two tips are to get there early (well before noon and the lunch time crowd) and make sure you go to the downtown location on Cortland. I went to the Lincoln Square location first and I was very disappointed. It was like a TJ Maxx but more expensive and not much selection. Then I went to the downtown location... More
