The Campbell Apartment is absolutely a time machine. Here you are in the iconic Grand Central Station having drinks in one of the most beautiful rooms in North America. Sure the drinks are a little pricey - but they are an excellent pour. You are not short changed! It is also a great place to hang by the bar if... More

The Campbell Apartment is a great space. Beautiful interior, fun and lively, and right over the Iconic Grand Central Station. It is true that drinks are pricey (five drinks with a group of friends the other evening came to over $90 including tip), but I think the great ambiance makes an experience there worth the price. What bothers me about... More

The Campbell Apartment is a great cocktail bar, the inside is beautiful, really makes you appreciate the craftsmen that used to exist in this country, and the drinks are excellent. It's been pointed out that drinks are pricey, you are in NYC so expensive is relative, is it more expensive than the many Irish bars around Grand Central, yes, but... More

Went here after reading reviews, but I think I should have gone much later, when we arrived there was only two other people in there, so not much atmosphere, the place was smaller than I thought it would be, quite dark as well. Lovely hearth and ceilings, can imagin much better with more people. If your in Grand central then... More

I laughed at one review that called this place trendy - it’s popular but it’s not trendy. It’s from another era. It was originally the office of one the railroad tycoons 50 plus years ago. It has that Brandy and Cigars kind of feel. Lots of dark wood and cushy couches. If you time it wrong the hostess will make... More

This is an excellent little bar, and is worth looking for on your way past or through Grand Central Station.

We spent a lovely afternoon at the little known ( to many) Campbell Apartment located right above all of the hubbub of Grand Central Station; we are 60'ish so aren't really "bar-hoppers" to say the least! But we had the most wonderful time at this refurbished and lavishly decorated "bar", which in the '20's (before our time!) was the luxurious... More

Had a couple of cocktails in here post-work. Expertly made, although bit of a hassle trying to get a table from the waitresses. Otherwise, upscale NY cocktail location.
