Went here after reading reviews, but I think I should have gone much later, when we arrived there was only two other people in there, so not much atmosphere, the place was smaller than I thought it would be, quite dark as well. I laughed at one review that called this place trendy - it’s popular but it’s not trendy. It’s from another era. It was originally the office of one the railroad tycoons 50 plus years ago. This is an excellent little bar, and is worth looking for on your way past or through Grand Central Station.

Had a couple of cocktails in here post-work. Expertly made, although bit of a hassle trying to get a table from the waitresses. Otherwise, upscale NY cocktail location.

Drinks are expensive ($10 each) but the view overlooking Grand Central Station is wonderful
