We normally don't do much shopping when in holiday but we managed to spend an hour browsing around. Plenty of friendly staff around to help you find anything you are looking for. Good for a wet afternoon.

I like shopping at Bloomingdales, they have a good selection of menswear, good brands, good staff. Not too impressed with their shirt department though

I refused to believe that staff at Bloomingdales could be rude, but I experienced it first hand. The makeup counter staff was super aggressive, pulling me into a chair before I had time to refuse. Insulting the dryness of my skin is not the way to earn my business. I was really looking forward to shopping at the Bloomies in... More

Every top line designer you can think of is here as well as some more accessible brands: Marc Jacobs, Theory, DVF, Tahari, Coach and many more. The day I went just about every area had a reduced rank of clothing and shoes with a 30 - 50% discount. I got outstanding service from Cyril in the Ladies wear area and... More

Is one of the best shopping places I have ever seen around the world! 90% of the big designers can be found here and their discount policy is realy great.

Excellent - if you have the money to spend. Not for the average punter. Don't forget to sign up for the 10% discount you will get by showing your passport at the visitor centre.

Our favourite department store in NY. The right range of clothes at good prices compared to UK. Staff were helpful and friendly mostly, just one time we had very slow service. The man on the watch counter was particularly knowledgable and helpful. 10% discount for visitors to the country, just present ID at the visitor centre. The queue does go... More

As a family, we intended spending the afterternoon shopping here and whilst I was trying clothes on in the Ralph Lauren menswear department (basement) we happened to be introduced to Suzanne Milton, a Brand Ambassador. She was FANTASTIC! After gleaning the children's ages and our interest in good food, she made some excellent recomendations for suggested sightseeing on Saturday (Soho... More

Bloomingdale's has a visitor center which once located gives a card for a discount on $100 spend. The ability to have coats and bags hung (free of charge) is wonderful (something every UK department store should take note of). The difficulty is in finding any merchandise to spend it on. It is either very very young or really old fashioned.... More

My boyfriend and I came here for a quick shopping stop before heading to our dinner reservation. Upon arriving, I was instantly asked by a guy on the door if I knew about their free make-overs they were offering in store, I said I didn't and I was instantly lead over to a make up counter, where a lady spruced...
