I have been avoiding this play for no particular reason. Les Mis, Cats, Wicked, Jersey Boys etc. always seemed to be better choices. I threw a 60th birthday party for my sister in law and thought I would gamble on The Addams Family and what a winner!! It was funny, clever and just plain fun.

We saw this show last summer in NYC and loved it! Starring Brooke Shields as Morticia, the show kept you laughing all the way through!

It was so bad, it was obvious that this was made just to generate paychecks. It was not creative, boring and insulting. The acting was fine. It waa just a bad idea.

I wasn't sure about tickets because I've never been a huge fan of the tv show or the movies, but this broadway show was funny and very entertaining. I loved it.

We really wanted to see a Broadway show whilst we were in New York and decided on this one as it was a bit different and isn't in the UK. Whilst the stage and sets were amazing, the show didn't 'wow' us (quite a small theatre compared to some with a very small cast) and some parts were very corny...

The show is beyond corny. Don't go expecting a lavish show with smart dialogue and a snappy score. Just sit back and enjoy the nonsense.

Our kids are 8 and 9 and they LOVED this show. There is some adult humor that flew right over their heads but the acting and the music were fantastic! We saw it with Nathan Lane and Bebe Neuwirth. This was the first musical my kids have ever been too and they are looking forward to the next one.
