All aboard for the saucy and splendid new production of one of the greatest musicals in Broadway history. Cole Porter’s classic stars Tony Award® winner Sutton Foster (Thoroughly Modern Millie, The Drowsy Chaperone) and Tony Award and Academy Award® winner Joel Grey (Cabaret, Wicked), and is directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Kathleen Marshall (The Pajama Game, Grease)! As the S.S. American heads out to sea, two unlikely pairs set off on the course to true love…proving that sometimes destiny needs a little help from a crew of singing sailors, an exotic disguise and some good old-fashioned blackmail. Peppering this hilariously bumpy ride are some musical theatre’s most memorable standards, including “I Get A Kick out of You,” “It’s De-lovely” and of course, “Anything Goes.” « less

Excellent tap dancing. Worth seeing old school Broadway.

If you love the music, you'll surely enjoy this wonderful show. The actors even look like they are having a good time! Joel Grey is incredible that he continues to do this show nightly! I was it with Sutton Foster and not sure who the female lead is now but bet she's good!

A light, fun musical with great dancing, acting, and singing. What more could you want? 80 year old Joel Grey still going strong and is a hoot!

Fun for anyone who likes musicals. It reminded me a bit of "Guys and Dolls", there is a little good ol' raunchy humor (that will go completely over the kids/teenagers heads). You'll hear yourself humming the songs way after the show is over. Delovely!

Really enjoyed this production. It's a bit old fashioned, but so well done. Real talent in this show. TERRIFIC!

I saw original cast but is likely still great. Old fashioned musical. Walk out humming. Glorious sets and costumes.

Very light, frothy and well-done. Excellent dancing and singing. I generally prefer "heavier" plays/musicals but it delivered what it promised and was a real crowd-pleaser.

The cast was very good as was the music and choreograhpy. We really enjoyed seeing Joel Grey. The plot was humerous and overall it was very enjoyable and worth seeing.

...then you'll love Anything Goes. It is classic Broadway - song, dance, humor, romance, all rolled into one well-done package. Cole Porter's music never gets old. If you can see only one musical when you visit New York City, buy tickets to this one. I live in the area, so I've seen most of the current fare, and this one... More
