I think like many others reviewing this have said, this is a place to visit with the sensitivity and understanding of the events of 9/11 and if you are going to approach it as a tourist then you may get some dirty looks. It's impossible to understand the enormity of the events that happened here without actually visiting the site. There isn't really a good place to view the site itself (though you get a bit of a view from the pedestrian bridge) but just walk around the block and see exactly how long it takes you. It feels wrong to rate the experience of visiting the ground zero site... choosing one option I opt for excellent but given the choice I think we would all rather that we were commenting on the twin towers than ground zero.
