Food good. My burger was good, wife's shrimp and avocado sandwich was amazing. Service good. A bit pricey, but on point for Midtown. Recommend.

This is a great bar located on the East side. The food is great but their Mimosas ROCK! The bartender (I'm embarrassed to admit that I forgot his name) is great and kept the drinks coming! There seems to be lots of locals at this bar which makes it a more "homey" place rather than just another local tourist attraction.

lovely decor from early 1900 & great burgers. I appreciated the atmosphere with all the old furniture, the bar, the toilets, the brick walls. a little two floor building historically keeping it up while sorrounded by HUGE 40 story (at least) buildings :)

After 10 hours of walking around New York sightseeing we spotted P J Clarke's en route back to our hotel. Like a previous reviewer said, it looked really busy from across the street but then we saw sign stating "Dining Room around corner". We had a brilliant time at P J Clarke's. It has a real buzz about the place and we met some great New Yorkers within minutes of arriving. It was the best pub we found in New York.
