This was a fascinating experience, simulating being blind in New York City (e.g., going on a subway, shopping in a market, walking through Central Park). We were led by a visually impaired person in complete darkness. My children (ages 9 and 12) were nervous at first, but really enjoyed it and thought it was quite an adventure.

Our guide Derek was so amazing, inspiring and delightful! He was especially good with my kids ages 11 and 10. He was so open and honest with us. And his voice boomed!!! Which really made such a dark experience full of brightness!
