A visit to Ground Zero is an experience you'll never forget and something all Americans should do to remember those who died in a horrific terrorist attack. It's incredibly moving to walk around the site, read the names of the dead and contemplate what happened there. Make a reservation ahead of time and print out your free tickets, and be...

Always, a emotional experience. Be sure to get a pass a few streets over before you go to the entrance. Also., noticed lines long midday. I walked right in in the morning.
what a somber place to visit. to see the 40 feet deep waterfalls in the footprint of the twin towers is amazing. to read all the names in bronze of people that died is amazing. and to see all the trees planted there. when they get the museum opened , that will make it even better.
I was deeply moved. I don't think an American can visit this site and not be moved.

It was surreal to be there and to see these massive pools of water where the towers once stood. It was a very moving experience that made what happened here so much more real. Definitely worth the visit. The passes are free but its best to secure them online before visiting.
Workers... they still wear protective hats with USA flag.
