The interior of the Riverside Church driaws your mind to a worshipfu state. The nave is large and yet it is still quite friendly. The music is good. The Tower is great to go up on a good day!
Across the street from the General Grant Memorial, you should walk over and see the Riverside Church. It's quite beautiful, and a church is a church (I know...a bit jaded, but...) it's a lovely building.
I toured the church which has a wonderful Nave and was privileged to have a visit up the tower which houses the bells and to hear them play. The tower sways in the wind and it is the highest building on Manhattan and from the tower you can see downtown to Ellis Island. The uptown Gray Line topless tour bus...
