Out of nearly 8 comedians, 5 were pretty funny. But the rip off is at $20 drink minimum per person. So you're in essence paying $70 to see a mediocre show.

I was there on Monday with some friends and the audience came from different backgrounds.
Most of the comedians, apart from a couple that, ade us laugh, were bad, I mean b-a-d!!
Some of them were offensive (one called a mother of 4 "D****ss" and said he'd get into a fight with her after the show outside the place!!!! and...

A bit worried that we had to buy a min of 2 drinks or $20 spend but it worked out fine and we had a great night. The comics were hillarious!
We bought tickets from a vendor in Times Sq and then worried that we had been tricked. However it was a great show and we really enjoyed it. There was a 2 drinks minimum and drinks prices were very high, but should not put you off.
If someone is standing in Times Square selling tickets and giving away vouchers, there's probably average elements to the event.
This is how we got tickets to the The comic strip.
First, the comedy was funny, good for a laugh, had some good acts even on a weeknight. Good value too, lasting for about 3 hours.

The club seems to have lost it touch with comedy. There were hardly any people there, so not much atmosphere - this was a shame. The compare was very funny . The comic's were very Amercian orientated so sense of humor not quite there for us Brit's. Just a personal opinon.
We got our tickets on the corner of Times Square. We were informed that we needed to make reservations and that there would be a $20 min per/person for drinks...very typical. Anyway, we went and had a great time. We saw 7 comedians and several we recognized. If you're close to the stage be prepared to get picked out -...

a total scam in terms of not being told when buying tickets on the street that it was $20 drinks minimum per person (the tickets were at a reduced fee on the street which made the show appealing to visitors to NYC on a budget but looking for good entertainment). At $10 for a bottle of Bud this was not...

Went on a Friday night.....25 cover and 20 drink minimum, so not a cheap event. Crowded, but the comics were funny. We were tourists and weren't going to go again soon, so the idea that the comics repeat doesn't bother us. pretty funny comics which is what we wanted.
You will love this place if your a tourist or someone who only goes here occasionally. We are locals and go once every 1-2 months so we would enjoy it more if they rotated comics more frequently or if the comics that were there at least switched up their material. Some of the comics are good about that and others...
