We decided to try the New York Skyride because we had a New York Pass, and it was one of the attractions that was included. We thought it was going to be similar to Soarin' at Disney's Epcot, which is our favorite Disney attraction. We were sorely disappointed. The film quality is awful, it was jerky and not smooth, and... More

I was not impressed with this attraction. It did cut a lot of wait time to get to the Empire State Building observation deck. Check out the normal lines & wait time before you purchase tickets for this.

It was lame, the quality of the images is terrible, the motion effect just makes you nauseous. Would not recommend to my worst enemy.

My boyfriend and I had the New York pass and I wish we would have skipped this its was a waist of time. If you don't have the NY pass you would have to pay $45 I would have been so mad!

This is honestly one of the worst places you could ever visit, ever. Please do not visit this if you are from another country because I will be embarrassed as an American. It was created in the 1990's and has not been updated. We have been twice because we had the NYC pass. The second time was to show our... More

Since we had the New York Pass we went on the New York Skyride. Since we were going up to the top of the Empire State Building and it didn't cost any extra we went. It was OK, but definitely not worth paying for if you don't have the New York Pass.

DO NOT GO ON THIS RIDE!! The only good thing about this was that it broke up the 3 hour queue to get to the top of the Empire State Building. We were seated in the back row so couldn't see half the screen but that's ok because we couldn't hear half of it either due to the noise of... More

Did this as we had the New York Pass so it didn't cost us anything extra. I wish I had looked on here first, I wouldn't recommend this even if you don't have to pay (the normal cost is $42 for an adult which I would almost consider theft!) don't waste the 22mins for the + time for lining up.... Just came back from a great weekend in NY but the Skyride was the worst part. Cannot believe that they charge $42 for this. Boring and outdated. They should be Shamed of themselves for stealing peoples money!
