We expected Ellis Marsalis to be great, but the surprise was the astounding blind pianist Henry Butler. Definitely try to catch him anywhere he plays - NOLA, NYC, or wherever.

A not-to-be missed place for great music; as frequent visitors, we hear largely soft jazz. Building, itself, is wonderful to see. Seating is innovative.

Inventive programming, thanks to Winton, Great performance spaces including Dizzy's Club, with the best backdrop for musicians you will ever see. If you crave jazz from a certain era (whatever the era) be patient and they will have it.

I don't know jazz, but this was a wonderful evening of music. I do see many shows and the auditorium was fantastic and much more comfortable than what you normally find in a music venue.

We love this place for jazz. Besides world class performers, the setting of the Rose Auditorium is so wonderful.
