The best part of my trip to NYC was my experience at this Comedy Club. We had the honor of seeing Sebastian Maniscalco, as the comedian that night! He was soooo funny and I couldn't believe how much my usually pretty serious boyfriend was laughing! We were assigned seating at a table close to the comedian (which was a little...

This was so much fun watching the performances of a fine line up of comedians. The ticket was reasonably priced with a 2 drink minimum. Intimate and classy setting. I was set for a night of laughs, and laugh I did!! With acts such as Alyse Kenny, Pete Lee, Greer Barnes and Amy Schumer. I love NYC.
very friendly venue. $25 each on a Friday night with two showing at 8pm and 10.30pm. You must buy 2 drinks per person, thius was not a problem for us :-) A good night out.
I've been to Gotham comedy club many times and never been disappointed. We went to the Gotham Comedy Club (taking a taxi - not walking - due to the advice of our concierge. Nighttime in this area is not supposed to be the safest). We saw some comedians we really enjoyed, like Drake Kemper, and some whose humor we didn't enjoy, but the club was very comfortable and friendly overall.
We try to catch comedy when in the city, this is usually a good option with great headliners.
The opening act was hilarious as was the warm up act. The main comedian was good but not as enthusiastic as the other two. But all in all it was a great night... $20 admission plus you had to order two drinks. Where else in NYC can you get 2 hours of enjoyment for that price?
We had our minds set for comedy cellar but it was booked full that weekend. Ended up @ Gotham and after a laughter filled night, no regrets at all. Good crowd, funny folks, cosy ambience ... In short good peoples. I recommend!
Went here last night, 12th Jan 2012 to see headline act Colin Kane. My friends were told when making reservation to be there at 8 pm, We were and there was a small queue, the guy sorting out reservations was very helpful, quick and genuinely friendly.
There is a 2 drink minimum cover charge as well as the $20 ticket...
