Went to this show to see Matthew Broderick and hear Gershwin. The Gershwin alone makes it worth while, but the show is great overall. I'm no expert in musical theatre (musicals aren't my thing actually), but this show had (1) great arrangements of the songs that were sung well (Matthew Broderick) to brilliantly (just about everyone else); (2) lots of... Lovely, classy theater with Matthew Broderick & Kelli O'Hara headlining Gershwin-based, "Nice Work If You Can Get It." It was the highlight of my trip! I loved it!

I imagine if you could travel back to the 20s or 30s this is exactly the sort of show you would have seen on Broadway. It wasn't the tightest production ever produced but it was still excellent. The arrangements of classic Gershwin tunes was brilliant, the dance and choreography snappy, sharp and performed with real enthusiasm and the costuming absolutely... More

I saw "Nice Work If You Can Get It" starring Matthew Broderick and Kelly O'Hare yesterday afternoon....probably the worst show I have seen in all my years watching Broadway shows. My high school could put on a more professional show than what these producers presented to our sold out audience. Scenery consisted of cardboard cutouts, lighting was simply glaringly bright,... “Nice work if you can get it”, currently at the Imperial Theatre, is a real fun show. I was not expecting much more than a collection of great old Gershwin tunes, but the sparkling performances, good book, contemporary jokes, and great choreography make it memorable evening. Kelli O’Hara leads a great cast. Matthew Broderick plays his usually happy idiot character,... More

My partner and I saw Nice Work on Broadway in April 2012. We have seen many shows previously, over a period of 25 years (though admitted;y this was our first on Broadway), but we have not seen a better one than this. The production values were high and the performances superb. Matthew Broderick and Kelli O'hara were wonderful and the... More

Gershwin music. Matthew Broderick. Kelli O’Hara. Great supporting cast. Zany book. Buoyant choreography. Mix and stir (with bootlegged booze, of course) and you come up with the comical effervescence, Nice Work If You Can Get It. Complete review at: http://bit.ly/Jk01Y7

S'wonderful and S'marvelous: between the music, singers and choreography, I couldn't stop smiling and humming along. Yes, there is the hokey plot with little witty side jokes, as expected. But, all in all a GREAT production for this Gershwin lover.

Saw the play Nice Work If You Can Get It, starring Matthew Broderick. A very funny show and recommend paying a little more for the seats on the first floor toward the front. Try the TKTS booth in Time Square for discount tickets.

Yes, I know the plot. Yes, I know the songs. Yes, I didn't expect Matthew Broderick to be a great dancer. Yes, I know that Kelli O'hara can more than carry a tune. The highlight for me was not the main stars but the supporting characters... Was it a fun show on a Saturday night? Absolutely. Did I get more... More
