right in the heart of broadway, the eugene o'neill theater really exceeded my expectations. we saw the book of mormon (that's a separate review--it's the funniest show ever) there and from what i could see there wasn't a bad seat in the house. it's a small theater so the atmosphere was very cozy and intimate. the acoustics were excellent and... Not for the faint of heart, this musical from the co-creators of South Park was worth every penny of the expensive tickets. We laughed all night along at the raunchy humour. The singing, dancing and cast were exceptional. However, you should not attend this show if you are: 1) easily offended, 2) under the age of 18, or 3) a Mormon.

Very funny show from the writers of South Park. Some will find parts offensive, if taken out of context, but most will walk away with a uplifting experience!

My wife and I were wandering around the Theater district hoping to get into a show at the last minute on a Saturday night in NYC on a very cold day. We were sooo fortunate to have found a gentleman with seats available for the Musical Comedy Book of Mormons. My wife was familiar with the show but I had... More

Do not go if religious satire offends you! But if not, get ready for a tame version of what these guys normally do on South Park. But the show is very well done with great musical numbers and awesome performers.

If you're a South Park fan (or even a major musical fan), you'll probably like 'The Book of Mormon' more than my friends and I did. It's a reasonably funny show off-and-on, but generally it's silly and sophomoric. The musical numbers also varied--some better than others. Overall though, the show was predictable and the exact opposite of daring. Not quite... More

We recently attended a showing of the Book of Mormon at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre house on 49th street. The show was a real hit but the theatre house was just average! The Eugene O'Neill Theatre house is fair size for the type of production it is presently showing. Seats are a bit crammed and not terribly comfortable, especially for... More

My husband got tired of me singing the songs, and my co-workers got tired of me telling them how great it was (mostly out of jealousy)! We were very lucky to get tickets, but it absolutely made my trip. Yes, the play has had some controversy but take it how you want too. I think life is a lot better... More

We walked up to the Ticket Counter on Monday and were able to get 2 tix (Box Seats) for Friday night. The show is irreverent, spectacular, extravagant, not for the faint of heart - DON'T MISS IT! It's everything they say it is.
