Probably my favorite theater on Broadway. Just over 700 seats, and usually configured for theater-in-the-round, so every seat is close to the stage. Just saw Godspell (again!) now that Corbin Bleu has joined the cast. It's a great high-energy show and being so close you can't help but feel a part of it. The neat part of theater-in-the-round, and in...

Just saw Godspell with my daughter. I saw original 30+ years ago on Broadway. I loved it, Corbin was spectacular. Rest of cast great and entertaining. One issue... this version did not include Jesus' resurrection. Why?? The entire life and teachings of Jesus are meaningful and important, but HE is the Messiah because of the Resurrection. I was waiting for...

Entertaining. Won lottery seats upfront. Wonderful actors, nice theatre.
Wonderful, intimate way to see a show. I would see another show here without a doubt.
Brought back from the 70s with some contemporary twists. Very spirited, fun, great music. Loved the Circle in the Square theatre.
Godspell, is a truly festive show! A must see on B'way. Make it a destination!
Saw Godspell here in March. Show was fantastic and performers were fabulous. My biggest dissapointment was that I purchased front row seats to suprise my daugter and picked A205 and 207. There was no mention that these were behind the piano. While we could still see most of the things on stage, some things were missed. I selected those seats...

Saw Godspell this past week. The energy of the cast was amazing as was the beauty of the music sung by stellar vocalists. The Circle in the Square theatre is intimate, in the round, space. If you are lucky you may snag a pillow seat next to the stage, or be seated near a musician. With the piano on stage,...

The Godspell revival on Broadway is the show to see during the Lenten & Easter season. A hugely talented young cast exuberantly brings these stories to the stage. The dialog is full of contemporary characters & the changing inside jokes are hilarious! The theater in the round ensures that all the seats are good ones. Don't miss this one!!
