On our most recent trip to NYC we had planned on taking a rowboat out on the lake. We had wanted to last year when we visited but didn't get the chance. Their website stated they were renting boats until dusk. We called the boathouse to inquire as to how late they were considering 'dusk'. The employee that answered said... More

We were there Saturday late morning to stop in for a cool drink and had an awesome time. Great place, you have to check it out.

We wanted to rent bikes in the park but $20/person can get expensive for a family of four. $13 for an hour in a boat in Central Park was fun and a great deal!

This is a fun way to relax in central park. We rented a row boat for $12 for 1 hour.

Food & View was great however hostess had attitude and they will sit walk up parties of 3-4 people without reservations before they will sit parties of two WITH reservations. This is the only thing I disliked about the place. The food is a little bit overpriced for lunch. Lunch for two- Salad and Entree over $100.00 . Otherwise great... More

Finally got to try this place after seeing it so much in movies. Friends also had a great time here. We went there (without reservation) for lunch on a rainy afternoon this past March, so it there was no wait. We were seated near the window. The view was awesome. There were so many delicious options, but I decided on... More

We didn't dine at the Boathouse; just rented a rowboat. What a fun way to see the park and to work off all of the cheesecake I'd eaten since we arrived!

On a short trip to New York, we enjoyed a great lunch at the Boathouse. Eggs Benedict with 3 different variations, great salads and mouthwatering sweets all combined to make this lunch the best of our stay. All four diners in our group would thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

In the middle of the park. Bring some fried chicken or hero and stop along the shore to eat.

My husband and I took a day to explore Central Park and ended up eating at Loeb Boathouse for dinner. Our table was at the water's edge and we were treated to a snapping turtle swimming around in the water. For New York, this actually was a place that felt romantic, cozy and friendly. If I ever make it back... More
