Comedy clubs in New York can really be a hit and miss proposition. Comedy Cellar has some of the best and funniest comics. The cover is reasonable and the two item minimum is ok.....expect to spend $45 a person for a weekend night show.

This little "hole in the wall" comedy club was so much fun! They have a great mix of comedians and kept the crowd lively. It's a tight place and they really pack people in but it's worth it for the show. The only draw back is that there is a ticket charge and a two drink (or food purchase) minimum... More

We went to the cellar last year and loved it. We went again this year and had a blast. Definitely high caliber comedians.
