Saw the NYC ballet for the first time and absolutely loved it! Awesome location, beautiful theatre. Saw Romeo and Juliet and loved it.
I took my two teenage boys to see "Bright Stream" last week Wednesday evening. They have only seen one ballet before, the Nutcracker, and weren't sure what to expect.
The Opera house is beautiful. The staff were hospitable. The performance was great.
We are on a budget, so sat in the family section - still we could see very well...

I saw American Ballet Theatre ( ABT ) perform in New York City on Memorial Day weekend 2007 and was thoroughly amazed. Make sure you clear time in your schedule to see them - especially if Herman Cornejo is dancing. He is worth the price of admission alone! He his beaming with stage presence, energy, and ability! The audience swooned...
