this is the top of the rockafella centre , i loved the view and the lift going up to the top if brilliant

Limited time in NYC and need to see the Manhattan skyline? If you have to make a choice between the Empire State Building and the Rockafella Centre? Do yourself a favour and go to THE TOP OF THE ROCK!

Despite the crowds, they hustle you through the lines quite well. The views from the very top (do not get distracted by "almost" at the top) are well worth it! We had this included in our City pass and loved it. The fantastic security guard even took our photos.

The best part of top of the rock is that there are clear glass walls at the top so you can get unobstructed view unlike empire state building. Also the queue is a lot shorter, took us 20 mins to get to the top v/s 1:30 mins on empire statue building (even though we had bought the tickets online)

Much better than Empire State building, main reason being, no day long cues and you can see the Empire State Building!
