No wheres near as big as Bryce but still a must see! Can be very windy there so bring a jacket or something warm. We saw both Parks in one day when we stayed in Cedar City. Do rt 20 to Bryce and rt 14 back after Cedar Breaks to Cedar City. Kind of make a big circle.

Beautiful. Be prepared for cooler temps and different weather as the elevation is pretty high. It was warm and sunny on the interstate but about 30 degrees cooler and drizzly at Cedar Breaks. Very dramatic, colorful, Grand Canyon-like vistas. So glad we made the trip.

At over 6,000FT the air is perfect, clear, and fresh. What not to like, nothing to dislike.

The elevation makes it wonderful in the hot summer. Also the hoodoos are really cool...............so you don't have to travel all the way to Byrce Canyon. The road to get there route 14 had a land slide and it is not expected to reopen to after July 2012.

Stopped here on our way from Bryce to Cedar City. Very cold and windy but worth the visit. I got even more beautiful photos because of the snow. Easy drive on paved road.

Driving up to Cedar Breaks, you would never guess what is hidden just off the road. The red-rock canyon views are spectacular and we very much enjoyed walking the hiking trail and saw several chipmunks and birds along the way. Definitely will visit here again.

Cedar Breaks is definitely worth a short visit, and a good break from the heat during the summer. We particularly like a short hike through the wildflowers and trees, and around a small pond.
