This is a little gem in Bradenton and a very unexpected surprise. I have been twice and would go again. Seeing the manatees was, of course, a great experience, and the guide gave lots of information. The best was the Planetarium shows. Go on a weekend to hear a real expert. A must see!

Went for a day when the prices were lower with my husband. Always heard about snooty and wanted to see him in person. Museum was much better than I expected.

Interesting little museum in the downtown bradenton area. Worth the visit.

The planetarium and manatee exhibits are great, and it provides a wonderful time line of evolution for kids. The staff is helpful and nice.

Snooty is the main attraction here, but the Planetarium and Historical museums are just as good, you just can not feed or pet them and get a smile back for your efforts.

We arrived at South Florida Museum with our Long Time Friends and all purchased a pass. We were really thrilled with Snooty's performance and the other two manatees in the aquarium and came back a second time. It was very informative and interesting. All of the family enjoyed the exhibits and meeting Snooty the manatee. We loved the star show at the planetarium.

Worth a visit we were there on Sunday morning and of course it opened late at 12.00 but worth hanging around for. Walked around river and downtown waiting for opening time.
