This is a monument to where Desoto arrived in the 1500s on his exploration of Florida and much of the Southeastern US. An interesting film on the absolute bloodshed that took place. The park has a beautiful view! more
We skipped all the demonstrations and the film since we had a 17 month-old with us, we knew he wouldn't be quiet for them. Instead we just walked along the nature trails.
