I did this 4 wheel drive road in a rent a car PT Cruiser, no 4 WD or anything. I did it in March 208 just before Easter, the car cruised it, but the road was in very good shape. I live in Vemont and have traveled quite a bit, but this was the best road I have ever driven..... more

When I was there in January 07 the road was closed to cars, so it was open for hiking. Entered from Death Valley side. Short drive up gravel road to trailhead. Beautiful narrow canyon. Amazing rock formations Narrow canyon road Quiet hiking more

Titus canyon is what death valley is all about -- going OFF road and seeing what's out there that 90% of the others in passenger cars never get to see. The road itself can change in condition overnight, so don't believe anything you read about it being in great or terrible condition, the best thing you can do is get... more
