Great place to people watch or just sit and relax in this urban oasis.
Philly is a very beautiful city and the Rittenhouse Square is one of the most beautiful places to go. There are a lot of great shops there and you can have a great food experience at Parc restaurant.
If you are touring Philly, it is worth a look and maybe a chance to people watch a bit (and take in its history)....but, the last time I was there, it was dirty, garbage cans were full, and it stank. Not exactly "nice"
The Rittenhouse Square hotel is a must stay for at least one night and the Sunday brunch is awesome.

It's a great place to relax on a beautiful day, read a book or people watch. It's beautiful at all times of year. I love it in the... More
This is a beautiful place, and people are always there so we went at night more than once. There are several stores and restaurants nearby that you can walk to. I do agree with another tripadvisor user who mentioned the homeless issue though. I am very sympathetic to their plight, maybe some of them cannot help it, but they were... More
