Overall, the Philadelphia Zoo is a great experience. While some of the building exteriors look like they could hardly accomodate animals comfortably, the facilities are actually very nice, nicely air conditioned (important for a hot summer's day), and the variety of animals is nice. As far as big city zoos go, this one is pretty managable in terms of its... More

I liked how they had some animals that you don't see often there. I didn't like all the dirt and trash on the ground, or how the cages were low for the quicker animals. I think they should have more employees there, that's just my opioion.

The cost was $50 per person for this overnight visit at the Philadelphia Zoo. Official arrival time at the zoo was between 6:30-7PM; however, we did not arrive until closer to 7:30. When we arrived we were escorted from the parking lot to the "Tree House" in the center of the zoo. The Tree House was awesome for the kids!... More

A zoo is a zoo to me, and while I love animals, I am not a fan of seeing them in a zoo setting. I always feel bad for them. That being said, I will also not let that alter my judgment of my experience. Isis think it was a little expensive ($66 for family of 4 for admission). On... More

Have a membership and we get there many times a year. So exciting to see the new baby animals and watch them grow. Great that you can take a lunch in and many spots to picnic!

This is a place for everyone to visit. I LOVE the many animals it has as well as the great attraction, and the ballon ride is awesome!

The Philadelphia Zoo is just big enough to enjoy in one day. The animal exhibits are close enough where you don't spend the entire day walking, but placed in such a fashion where they don't feel cramped. As one would expect, there are a wide variety of animals. We are zoo members and visit quite frequently. I offer these suggestions:... More

l liked this Zoo, it was just the right size and the food within the zoo was reasonable considering you were in an area where you think that it would not be. The animals are well taken care of and looked to be very happy. It was nice to see all the animals and I would reccommend it to small... More

While getting to the zoo, and some of the surrounding areas are less than pleasant, the Zoo itself is very beautiful and I love to go there. I recently bought an Individual Membership. With that, you can take one guest each time and it makes it worth it. Each entry ticket, per adult, is $18 and parking is $12 if... More
